LONGSHORE DIVISION HISTORY & TRADITIONS CONFERENCE - DECEMBER 1-6, 2013
Our objective is to offer a program rich in historical information about pivotal moments and issues in the union’s past, and about the workforce, the industry, and the international economy in which we work today, plus ways to use this information in carrying out the Union’s program in our local unions and communities, particularly in the upcoming contract negotiations.
The Coast Committee/Local will cover the following costs:

Two meals daily plus Sunday evening reception

Hotel Room and tax (based on double occupancy of approved participants) for the nights of December 1-5, 2013. Individuals who wish to have a private room may upgrade but must pay $100.00 per night for the cost of the room plus tax

Per diem of $71.00

Round trip flight to San Francisco

A maximum of up to 10 people from Local 13 will be allowed

NO WAGES WILL BE PAID FOR THIS CONFERENCE – THIS IS STRICTLY VOLUNTEER
